What's this?
At CCCamp23, the museum train people from VVM will be running two trains on the 500mm track. Like four years ago, you will have the opportunity to train as an engineer and conductor, and drive the train yourself.
Interested? Then join us in the Matrix chat room #camp2023-trains:events.ccc.de.
Map, API
The map is produced by our API server api.c3toc.de. There, you can fetch data about the trains and tracks, or integrate the map directly into your site. The page DS 100 Betriebsstellenverzeichnis lists all the stops including their “official” German DS100 designations.
When does the train go?
We're planning to run two trains. The track is 2km long, and one round takes about 30 minutes. So on average there should be a train every 15 minutes.
Can I transport my luggage on the train?
That should work. For larger pieces, we'll try to add flatcars to the train.
News
The preparations are in overdrive!
You would like to become an engineer? We're planning to have a training session every day, after which you will be allowed to drive the train. Simply register as a “traingel” in Alternativen Engelsystem.
We'll be having a training session every morning. As soon as you know which session you would like to attend, you can assign yourself to that shift.
